  5.      New to ARJ 2.42 is a feature that allows a programmer to use ARJ,
  6.      DEARJ, or ARJSFX within an application in such a way as to allow the
  7.      programmer significant control over the ARJ display output.
  8.  
  9.      It is possible to inhibit all ARJ/DEARJ/ARJSFX screen output and to
  10.      build a display program that ARJ/DEARJ/ARJSFX will use to display a
  11.      graphical output of the installation progress.  This will produce a
  12.      more professional looking application.

  14.      The main drawback to this new display feature is that of speed. The
  15.      speed degradation is most noticeable with archives with many small
  16.      files.  For single diskette archives, this should not be a major
  17.      problem.

  19.      To see how all this works in practice, you should execute the
  20.      ARJDISP.BAT batch file and follow its instructions.  This feature is
  21.      also available in the large ARJSFX (self-extractor) module.

  23.      The C source code and documentation for the ARJ$DISP.EXE program
  24.      will be provided to registered ARJ users as part of the registered
  25.      ARJ software diskette.
